As a section of carpet dries after a carpet cleaning, bubbles and ripples will start to lay flat once more. You shouldn’t be able to find any bumps or ripples after the carpet has dried entirely. If the ripples don’t disappear after it’s dry, please feel free to reach out to us.

We recommend a light vacuuming in the areas you’re about to get cleaned prior to the carpet cleaning, but this is not required. We’ll pre-vacuum the area to remove the dry carpet soil before beginning anyway. Additionally, the carpet is being vacuumed throughout the treatment.

Should I Move The Furniture Before The Carpet Cleaning?

Please move the furniture before we arrive. This will allow the carpet time to regain its original shape and will render the cleaning more effective. We can then spend more time on each square inch of carpet than we would if we had to move the furniture ourselves. We also wouldn’t want to harm any heirloom pieces or scuff a different part of your flooring. You’ll know better than us where you have room to stow away those extra pieces for the cleaning process.

Our specialized equipment ensures that no residue is left behind and no dirt is allowed to linger.

The dry time for your carpet will be affected by a couple of factors: the airflow in the area, the humidity on that day and the temperature of your home. Carpet can take anywhere between 8 to 24 hours to dry thoroughly. To accelerate the drying time, you can place fans in the area that’s been cleaned recently or turn up your heating or air conditioner, depending on the time of year. Be sure not to place furniture back in the room before the carpet has dried completely to avoid stain transfers and lingering dampness that could result in mold and other issues. Avoid wearing street shoes on the recently cleaned carpet to avoid grinding fresh dirt into the wet carpet.

If you’ve got fleas in your carpet, we can certainly help. Before the carpet cleaning, we recommend you kill all of the adult fleas with whatever method you prefer. The carpet cleaning will not eliminate the flea infestation, but if you act quickly and get your upholstery treated as well, we could easily get rid of any remaining eggs or debris left over from the fleas.

Why Do Prices Vary Between Carpet Cleaners?

Some amateur carpet cleaners won’t include a satisfaction guarantee or factor in any spot treatment for your pets. Ask lots of questions to help you personalize your quote.
